Blacklights (or UV Lights) make fluorescent items appear to "glow". They are generally used in dark environments. Blacklights used for special effects prject the safe UV-A range of Ultra-Violet (UV) light. These products do not transmit harmful UV-B and UV-C ranges, and they do not transmit visible (white) light. All blacklights are sold complete with lamp, ballast and filter (if applicable).
