These lights typically project moving beams of colored light, to the beat of the music using a built-in sound sensor. They are actually designed for nightclub and mobile DJ applications, but are often used to create special effects on stage as well. Due to the motors and high wattage bulbs, these lights are designed to be used on an intermittent basis (such as 15 minutes on, 15 minutes off). In any event, a light left on for hours will quickly cease being "special" regardless of how spectacular the effect is.
COLOR STRIP
Take control over the colors you need. The CHAUVET COLORstrip is an LED-fitted strip fixture. The unit can be controlled via four DMX channels, multiple modes accessible via the control panel, or an optional LED-FS1 controller.
The COLORstrip features built-in programs with automatic and sound-active triggers, and allows access to popular preset RGB mixed colors: yellow, purple, cyan and white. The fixture is equipped with pre-programmed flash, color chase, sequential color chase, color mixing and color fade patterns.
