Theatrical fog machines create fog by vaporizing a special, safe and non-toxic water-based fluid. When used according to instructions, they leave no residue. Fog greatly enhances any lighting effect. It's used extensively in haunted houses, nightclubs, concerts and theaters. Popular Fog Machines is our line of economically priced models suitable for most applications. (Theme parks, arenas, stadiums, cruise ship shows and other large-scale or long-running shows should choose from our Professional Fog Machines category.) All models use Theatre Effects Fog Fluid. All models have a "reheat cycle" meaning they will automatically shut down to reheat from time to time, and during reheat (lasts approximately 60 seconds) you cannot make fog.

The Viper II is a powerful German-made fog machine that can operate in any position, even pointing straight up. Its robust construction and efficient design guarantees trouble-free operation. The powerful output (up to 50 feet) is infinitely variable, producing every desired effect from a tiny cloud to the thickest swamp.

The fogger includes a DMX interface, so it can be controlled from either your lighting console, or from the analog remote that’s also included. A wireless remote, and hanging bracket/yoke are optional. The Viper II will never go into reheat when the output is set to 40% or less. At 100% output, the maximum continuous burst is 40 seconds (enough to fog even the largest stage). An ATA-style carrying case is available.

The low-lying fog effect is extremely popular. It's perfect for weddings, fashion shows, dance recitals and stage shows. There are two methods for creating it. The first, which uses dry ice and hot water, does not require expensive equipment, but does cost a lot on the "per fog minute" basis. The second method, which uses refrigeration or cryogenics, requires a high intial investment for the equipment, but the cost per use is then relatively low.

Using The Fog Cabin is pretty straight forward. Simply fill the large-capacity cavity with ice above the mesh tri-baffle system inside the Fog Cabin; close the lid and lock the latches; shoot fog in through the intake and out of the front of The Fog Cabin will come low-lying fog! 20 lbs. of ice will last hours.
