If you are a professional "Gorilla Man" you will most definitely appreciate these suits!  If you're a collector, people will marvel when this suit is displayed in your home or office.  If you're a gorilla-buff and collector of all things gorilla, then you're sure to fall in love with these suits!  These are without a doubt one of the best Gorilla suits available and very different than anything that is offered by the commercial market today!

GORILLA BODY SUIT

The Gorilla body suit is made up of 6-inch long hair woven into a 4-way stretch spandex base.  The result is an ultra-realistic combination of black, brown, white and gray hairs.  This body suit has a hidden zipper running from the lower back to the top of the neck.  There is plenty of long hair on the head that blends into the body.

In that everyone is built differently, the manufacturer suggests that the customer "build up" the shoulders with football pads (not included).  Adding the football shoulder pads gives the suit a "bulky" body appearance.  Please note that this high quality Gorilla suit will fit an adult up to 7-feet tall and 350 pounds.

These are custom "made to order" Gorilla suits and the manufacturer will need to assemble your suit based on the measurements that you provide.  When the fur material is cut, they leave a 2-inch margin all the way around.  Since the spandex will stretch, this gives the customer (wearer) the opportunity to add your own padding wherever you need it.

Along with your new suit you will also receive a booklet (written by the designer) that will give you complete details on how to build the "bulk" of the suit, the shoulders, how the head should rest, the hands, feet and general Gorilla posture.  It's pretty much a "manual" on making your Gorilla suit the most realistic possible.

THE GORILLA HEAD

The "Kongo" head is made in a 12-step process much like the way the old Don Post Halloween type masks were made.  The rubber gorilla skin is attached to a fiberglass underskull.  The lower jaw is hinged with hidden return springs so when the actor opens his/her mouth, the gorilla does likewise.  It takes between 50-70 hours just to complete the head alone.  The coloring, hairing and shading are all done by hand.  Single hairs are punched in and around the frame of the face for the utmost in realism.  The teeth, tongue and gums are all hand made and painted as well.

For a complete "custom fit", you will be sent the head with several foam blocks for you to install so as to take up any extra room in the head.  All you will need is a glue gun.  Each head comes with complete instructions on customizing the fit as well as the care and feeding of your new gorilla head.

PRODUCTION AND DELIVERY

Gorilla suits are custom "made to order" and take between 6-8 weeks for production and delivery from the time payment is received.  This may take a little longer depending upon how many orders the manufacturer already has "on the bench" in production.  Therefore, if you wish to wear your Gorilla suit in time for a Halloween event, you absolutely must place your order with full payment no later than August 1, 2009.  Be certain to contact us in advance for the manufacturer's current production schedule before placing your order.  Sorry, "rush" orders will not be accepted!

PAYMENT FOR GORILLA ITEMS

Complete fur suit with hidden back zipper.  The hair that the manufacturer uses is an acrylic mix of black, gray, brown and white.  It has a 5 to 6 inch nap and is the most realistic gorilla hair you will find anywhere!

Two (2) gorilla hands.  Three shade coloring process with hair.

Two (2) gorilla feet.  Three shade coloring process.

One (1) complete gorilla head with articulated jaw on hidden return springs, hand applied hair, hand punched hair, three shade coloring process, lower teeth, tongue, gums, and inside foam padding.
